About the Role: We are looking for a skilled Electrical Project Engineer with a strong focus on control systems and automation to join their Newcastle team. You will be responsible for managing the project scope, design, detailed engineering, planning, and implementation of projects within the Engineering team, supporting facilities across the Asia Pacific region. Key Responsibilities: Design electrical systems for new equipment and system upgrades. Choose and design electrical, control, and instrumentation components. Create and revise electrical schematics. Develop and update PLC and HMI programs and interfaces. Prepare functional specifications, testing documentation, and commissioning procedures. Offer onsite commissioning support as required. Oversee project scopes and budgets. Supervise external contractors. About You: Skills & Experience Bachelor's degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering. At least 4 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the heavy manufacturing sector. Proven experience in managing projects independently. Familiar with general LV power systems. Proficient in PLC/HMI design, particularly with Allen Bradley systems. Willing to travel to site as needed. Strong proactive attitude and ability to work independently.
