Services are provided through our five main campuses: Northern Hospital Epping, Broadmeadows Hospital, Bundoora Centre, Craigieburn Centre, and Kilmore District Hospital. In addition, Mental Health Services are provided at Epping, Broadmeadows, Jacana, Preston, Mill Park and Coburg. About the Role: An exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic Registered Nurse to join the Central Sterilising Department team with flexibility to work across Northern Health campuses. This role under the direction of the CSSD Nurse Unit Manager will be responsible for providing, mentoring and professional leadership to all staff within the CSSD. This role contributes to the operational and business direction of the CSSD within the strategic direction of Northern Health and in particular to ensure the efficient and effective use of human and financial resource to ensure the delivery of sterile products to support patient care and ensure positive clinical outcomes and the provision of quality customer service. To be successful in this role you will have: Current registration with AHPRA Certificate IV in Sterilisation Services or working towards Experience and good working knowledge of AS5369:2023 and NSQHS Standard Proven ability to lead by example and be a positive role model Knowledge and understanding of Surgical Cases and instrumentation Knowledge on loan sets processes and Theatre List Set-ups Previous experience with T-Doc or similar sterilisation applications Next Steps . . .
