The Role As a Junior Traffic Engineer in Brisbane, you will be involved in providing support for traffic engineering projects, assisting with traffic analysis, planning, and designing solutions to improve road safety and traffic flow. You will work closely with senior engineers and consultants, gaining valuable experience and skills in the traffic engineering field. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the preparation of traffic impact assessments and transport planning reports. Support traffic analysis and modelling using relevant software and tools. Contribute to the design of traffic management solutions for various projects. Conduct site inspections and assist in traffic surveys. Collaborate with project teams and clients to develop solutions that meet technical, safety, and environmental standards. Assist in the preparation of project documentation and presentations. Stay updated with the latest industry trends, guidelines, and regulations. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Transport Engineering, or a related field. 1 - 5 years' experience Knowledge of traffic analysis software (e.g., SIDRA, VISSIM) is a plus. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. A strong commitment to professional development and learning.
