This full-time role will report to the Engineering Manager and will consist of a mix of both in-office and on-site consultancy and testing services. The role will be based in the company’s facility located south of the Perth CBD. The Position The role responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Performing forensic engineering and failure investigations. Performing root cause analysis. Conducting materials & mechanical testing. Providing expert witness services. Preparing written reports for clients. Serving as a point of contact for client inquiries. Scoping and preparing client quotes. Ensuring equipment is maintained and within calibration. The Ideal Candidate… The ideal candidate will require the following: Bachelor's degree in Materials Engineering or equivalent. (Essential) Minimum of 3 years’ experience in performing failure analysis / root cause analysis. Technical understanding of machinery, heavy vehicles and engines (beneficial). Have a 'hands on' attitude. Professional verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills. Have a high degree of competency in Microsoft Office Suite of programs. High attention to detail. Excellent customer service skills.
