What You’ll Be Doing: Supporting the external sales team with existing accounts, potential customers, and incoming cash sales enquiries through quote generation. Assisting with lead generation and following up with Builders & Contractors on tender submissions. Data entry tasks with sales information, customer orders, and quotes. Generating quotes, managing price books, and modifying account discounts for external sales. Proactively following up on leads, tracking new accounts, and capitalizing on new business opportunities. Preparing project enquiries for order entry and responding to customer requests fast and accurately. Collaborating with customer service, production, and transport teams to ensure seamless project execution. What You Bring to the Table Industry Know-How: 3 years of experience in a manufacturing business, preferably in the building materials or construction sector. Roofing, fascia, guttering, rainwater, plumbing products? That’s a huge plus Technical & Quoting Expertise: You have a solid grasp of technical product information and can generate quotes like a pro. Fast & Accurate Data Entry: You don’t just type—you own the numbers. Excellent Communication: You’re a natural at building relationships, internally and externally. Tech-Savvy: Experience with Excel, ERP, and CRM systems. Organized & Detail-Oriented: You know how to prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines with ease.
