Global Partnerships Full-time permanent position Base salary will be in the range $80,523.29 - $89,505.38 17% Superannuation (HEW Level 5) Based at our picturesque St Lucia Campus About This Opportunity As an Administrative Officer within UQ Global Partnerships, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the unit by providing high-level administrative support to the Operations Manager. This position is integral to the success of UQ’s international initiatives, as it supports a range of activities that facilitate collaboration between the University and its global partners. Key responsibilities will include: Provide information and support to internal and external stakeholders. Manage purchasing, invoicing, and ordering of supplies via the Unifi system. Coordinate events, visits, and logistical arrangements for international delegations. Facilitate staff and student travel, including accommodation and financial processes. Oversee building maintenance, security, IT equipment, and room bookings. Support the Operations Manager and assist with onboarding new team members. Build strong internal partnerships and provide administrative support as needed. Assist other Global Partnership teams during peak periods. About You Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training. Well-developed organisational and planning skills, with the ability to prioritise, work under pressure and meet deadlines with a minimum of direct supervision. High level of accuracy and attention to detail and ability to follow policy and procedures, exercise initiative and make sound judgments. Strong interpersonal skills and client service focus with a demonstrated ability to liaise effectively with people from diverse backgrounds and sensitivities and awareness of cultural differences. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment, whilst taking full accountability for the efficient delivery of set tasks within agreed timeframes and service standards. High level of computer competency, including Microsoft Office suite of programs, email and relevant higher education software experience such as PeopleSoft, OASIS and CRM. Knowledge of the higher education sector, particularly in relation to international education is desirable. The successful candidate may be required to complete a number of pre-employment checks, including: right to work in Australia.
