Senior Interior Designer (High End) — Prahran, Stonnington Area

About the Company This boutique practice focuses on creating beautifully crafted spaces that seamlessly connect architecture, interiors, and landscape. Specialising in high-end residential and multi-residential architecture and interiors, the firm is located in Prahran and features a design-focused, collaborative, and outcome-driven open-plan office. Purpose of the Role The ideal candidate for this position will be an experienced Interior Designer with a passion for design and detail, capable of coordinating all aspects of project delivery. The role involves working on bespoke, high-end, contemporary single and multi-residential projects alongside a skilled and focused team. Strong design skills, a high standard of interior documentation, detailing, and product knowledge are essential, along with prior experience in consultant and project coordination. Proficiency in Revit is a must. This is a full-time position that may also include responsibilities in Concept Design, Design Development, Planning, and further Contract Documentation. Mentorship The selected candidate will work under the mentorship of a Senior Associate in the interiors team while also having a degree of autonomy. Skills & Competencies Degree qualification with 4 years of experience Documentation experience in boutique multi-residential projects and high-end single residential housing Exceptional technical skills to produce and deliver detailed construction documentation packages Strong interpersonal and clear communication skills (both written and oral), including the ability to negotiate and discuss items with consultants, contractors, and co-workers at all levels Ability to achieve objectives effectively within given timeframes Excellent attention to detail Practical application of knowledge Willingness to assist and support team members Highly proficient in Revit and InDesign Main Duties & Responsibilities The requirements of the role include: Correspondence and information sourcing from suppliers Preparation of meeting minutes and file notes Research on construction materials and products Assisting other staff members with queries Creating summaries for product research Maintaining established practice procedures Contributing to documentation from design development through to construction FF&E research and selection Understanding and compliance with project and practice quality standards Proficiency Requirements Candidates must be proficient in: Revit, Outlook, MS Project, Excel, and Word Time management, including accurate record-keeping and timesheet entry Understanding and prioritising task requirements Proficiency in Lumion, InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop is an advantage but not a requirement For inquiries regarding the position, please contact Lee Stevens at Vivid Recruitment.
