The Role: We are seeking a proactive and dedicated Customer Service Team Leader to join our team in Derrimut. This role is pivotal in managing and optimizing the performance of office-based customer service and dispatch teams. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in driving sales growth, enhancing customer satisfaction, and ensuring operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the customer service and dispatch team to ensure effective account management and support. Address and escalate operational queries, monitor team performance and maintain quality of service. Be an active part of training for staff on new products. Assist trade clients by managing inquiries, processing orders and assisting with products. Swiftly resolve customer issues and implement corrective actions. Collaborate with Inventory and Warehouse teams for inventory management, including stock replenishment and order tracking. Coordinate with Accounts for processing credit account applications and liaising with freight providers. Manage the order release process and ensure timely delivery by maintaining constant communication with internal and external stakeholders. Develop and maintain trusted relationships with assigned customer accounts and act as their advocate within the company. Promote and foster teamwork across departments through effective collaboration and negotiation skills. Required Qualifications and Skills: Proven experience in customer service or administration roles. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. High motivation and the drive to exceed targets within tight deadlines. A positive "Can do" attitude and a strong passion for achieving customer satisfaction. Prior experience in the distribution and logistics industry will be highly regarded.
