About the Role As a Customer Service – Outbound Sales Officer , you’ll be at the forefront of supporter engagement, making outbound calls to retain donors, increase contributions, and strengthen relationships. Your role is crucial in ensuring a seamless and positive experience for supporters while achieving key revenue and retention goals. Key Responsibilities Make outbound calls to supporters, engaging them in fundraising campaigns and retention efforts. Deliver exceptional customer service across phone, email, SMS, and online/webchat. Promote donor retention by offering tailored solutions to maintain involvement. Achieve key performance targets, including supporter retention and call volume. Process donations accurately while adhering to financial policies. Maintain precise data entry and record-keeping within CRM systems. Handle supporter inquiries and concerns professionally and efficiently. Participate in fundraising and marketing initiatives to enhance engagement. Attend training sessions to refine sales and retention techniques. What We’re Looking For Essential Skills & Experience: Strong customer service experience (sales, call centre, fundraising, or tele-sales preferred). Confident phone manner with the ability to build rapport and ask for donations. Sales-driven mindset with experience in outbound calls and retention strategies. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Strong attention to detail and proficiency in data entry and CRM/database management. Ability to follow scripts and procedures while adapting to supporter needs. Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with CRM systems. Problem-solving skills with the ability to handle objections and difficult interactions. A team player who thrives in a target-driven environment. Additional Information A successful candidate will need to complete a Police Check and Working With Children Check.
