The Role As an Administration Officer , you will play an essential role in ensuring the smooth operation of the administration team. You will be responsible for various administrative tasks, from preparing reports to managing invoices and collections, as well as providing support to your colleagues in the administration department. Position Summary: Perform administrative duties with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Follow established procedures, working towards clear objectives with support from team leaders. Prepare statistical reports, monitor billing and collections, and maintain filing systems. Communicate with external organisations, such as health insurance providers, DVA, and WorkCover. Key Responsibilities Core Tasks: Prepare and review statistical reports and summaries. Monitor daily billings, collections, and banking. Process standard claim forms and ensure compliance with legislative requirements. Maintain accurate and efficient filing systems. Communicate with external organisations regarding account payments. Continuous Quality Improvement: Recommend and discuss new resources or processes for program development. Participate in Quality Improvement activities within the department. Infection Control: Follow infection control policies to ensure the safety of all staff, residents, and visitors. Occupational Health and Safety: Take reasonable care for personal and team safety. Report accidents, hazards, and injuries promptly. Selection Criteria Essential Requirements: Proven excellent communication skills. Strong time management abilities. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook). Previous experience or technical training in an administrative position. Full COVID-19 vaccination status. Annual Influenza vaccination status. Desirable Requirements: Knowledge of healthcare computer programs (e.g., IPM, Oracle).
