The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service by meeting both our and our customers KPI’s. The role involves working in a small and diverse team environment, while also being able to work proactively and autonomously. Responsibilities: • Liaise with Customers, Transport and Operations staff to co-ordinate daily inventory control and required movements. • Liaise with the Site Superintendent on matters pertaining to customer service functions • Generate and distribute paperwork to drivers/operations staff for receipt/dispatch of inventory • Support the instigation of Works Orders and attach blend sheets for production scheduling • Process paperwork in our Inventory System ensuring all movements have been properly recorded • Generate and print product labels as per requirements • Filing of movement dockets and other documentation as required • Monitor and report to customers' on inventory control and movement information • Conduct site induction training for all visitors/drivers • Ensure visitors sign in / out of the site visitors register • Assist the administration team as required, for example, by running regular invoice reports to ensure that all charges to customers are correct. • Assist with containerised product exports Skills: • Strong customer service skills ( external and internal ) • Proficient computer skills with high attention to detail • Excellent prioritising and organisation skills • Demonstrated problem solving skills • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Knowledge of ADG Code for Transport & Storage of Dangerous Goods’s is desirable • Ability to adapt effectively to change Qualifications: A minimum of 2 years previous experience in a similar customer service or administration based role in materials distribution, transport, freight forwarding or shipping environment.
