The Role We are seeking a Teacher - Mathematics, responsible for delivering a cutting-edge curriculum at Sheldon College within the Mathematics Faculty. This role will also work in the Science Faculty teaching Middle College Science. Working with a dynamic team of dedicated educators, your goal will be to enhance the capacity and confidence of students and delivery of the ACARA Curriculum. About you Relevant tertiary teaching qualifications majoring in Mathematics and/or major or postgraduate in Education. Registration with the Queensland College of Teachers (QCT) Demonstrated experience delivering Mathematics curriculum in Secondary Education. Ability to plan and deliver exceptional teaching and learning programs that meet the needs of students in Mathematics according to ACARA and QCAA. Passion for quality teaching and learning and the ability to translate this into a challenging learning environment with strong student engagement and excellent academic outcomes. Demonstrated capacity for reflection and self-directed learning with a commitment to continuously improve teaching practices. Demonstrated experience applying creative and innovative practices and processes in education and digital platform tools to support student learning. Demonstrated ability to establish effective relationships with students, parents and colleagues and partnerships within the wider community. Strong team orientation with a willingness to contribute and collaborate. High standards of personal integrity and professionalism. Ability to be a proactive and collaborative member of a team. A warm, welcoming and friendly disposition. Desirable Skills and Experience Experience and knowledge in preparing students for External Examinations. QCAA accreditation in the QCE processes including Endorsement, Confirmation, External Marking.
