We are currently accepting applications for an enthusiastic and self-motivated Graphic Designer to join Shimano Australia Fishing in Caringbah. Reporting to the Strategic Marketing Manager, the successful candidate will work onsite in our head office on a 12 month fixed term full-time contract basis. As the Graphic Designer you will be responsible for the design, production and marketing content requirements of Shimano Australia Fishing. Working closely with the marketing department, the position will require a creative yet highly organised team player who is able to effectively create design-based concepts and bring them to life. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Working closely with the marketing team and other Designers to design a variety of mediums including print, digital and multimedia for Shimano Australia End-to-End Content Creation: Conceptualise & execute designs for various applications, including but not limited to: marketing collateral (flyers, Instore Point of Sale, brochures, catalogues), digital advertising (website banners, social media graphics, eDm’s, editing videos, animations), packaging, and promotional materials. Maintain SAF’s branded website imagery across internal websites including corporate, squidgies.com.au, gloomis.com.au, B2B, shimanopromotions.com.au - web-based materials that enhance the user experience and drive engagement, including website banners, articles, landing pages, and other visual elements, this also extends to Shimano’s imagery for digital organic & paid channels Manage multiple creative projects simultaneously, ensuring all deadlines and budgets are met. Support management and maintenance of the company's visual asset library, ensuring brand consistency across all materials Edit a range of brand and product footage for promotional activity. To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate: Broad experience in a previous graphic design role Able to demonstrate a history of creative work through a dedicated portfolio. Advanced level of proficiency in Adobe Suite – Photoshop, Illustrator, Premier Pro, InDesign, After Effects Strong attention to detail and ability to show initiative Strong graphic design capabilities, with the ability to take direction and generate concepts independently Capability and confidence to see project inputs and outputs through from concept (early brief, sketches) to completion (highly polished output) Solid understanding of design principles, typography, layout techniques, with a keen eye for detail and a strong aesthetic sense Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects A desire to work in an office with a team of driven and creative individuals Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to work under pressure and prioritise tasks efficiently Demonstrated experience interpreting graphic design briefs, design principles and developing design solutions A proactive attitude, passion for design, and a keen eye for branding, typography, and layout Able to follow and uphold CI guidelines To discover what Shimano Australia is all about visit our LinkedIn Life page for more information.
