Position : Land Administrator Start : ASAP Duration : 6 months initially Salary : From $37.78 per hour (depending on experience) plus superannuation Location : Wauchope, NSW Overview Seeking a Land Administrator Officer for 6-month casual contract at Wauchope. From $37.78 per hour (depending on experience). Experience in land permits, titles, land use agreements, crown land transfers and spatial data required. Primary Purpose of the Position The Land Administrator Officer is responsible for the efficient and effective performance of land administration activities relating to designated hardwood forests, certainty of land titles, land access issues, and land use agreements. Key accountabilities/responsibilities Research and respond to internal and external enquiries relevant to land titles, access and use in a timely fashion. Production of maps and related spatial information. Assist with administering Forest Permits and other land use agreements in accordance with policy and legislative requirements. Assist with administration of transfers of Crown/Perpetual Leases consistent with policy and legislative requirements. Assist with administration of practical and commercial access agreements. Assist with boundary clearing applications. Contribute to the assessment of submissions from external stakeholders which potentially impact land titles, access and use. Develop and maintain constructive relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. Assist with the issue of annual invoices, monthly statements and required follow-ups. Skills and Experience Proven organisational skills - ability to plan and prioritise work, meet standards and deadlines. Basic computer skills and ability to learn and apply new technologies (iPads, phone apps, email and web-based systems) Demonstrated experience in land management and planning, including good knowledge and understanding of, and ability to interpret and apply relevant legislation and regulations. Demonstrated computer skills, preferably including experience in accessing and using spatial data and GIS. Commitment to customer service and continuous improvement. Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, preferably including negotiations skills and experience. Possesses a willingness to learn, is curious, and able to work independently.
