Join us as an Administration Officer now The Administration Officer works as a member of the Social Work and Counselling Department within the Allied Health Division to provide a confidential and comprehensive administration service to both internal and external staff and ensures an effective service is provided to clients within the Department. About the role: Reporting to the Manager of Social Work and Counselling this role provides support within the department to enable the delivery of comprehensive clinical services. Duties for the role will include: Developing, providing and maintaining administrative support, systems and databases which meet the needs of the Social Work & Counselling Department and SALHN Maintaining a sound knowledge of Social Work & Counselling Services Procedures & Guidelines, to be able to respond and handle enquiries in an appropriate manner Maintaining strict confidentiality on all issues relating to the organisation, the patients, and the department Coordinating the maintenance and updating of all departmental equipment About you: Proven time management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise work demands and adopt a flexible approach to dealing with a fluctuating workload Experience working with a customer focused administrative area, preferably within a health setting Experience in the use of Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Excel, and Word etc Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally Please see the attached Role Description for additional information.
