As a Junior Systems Engineer you will work in a customer focused team and a dynamic ICT environment to perform entry-level engineering tasks and technical support activities. This includes the troubleshooting of technical issues, undertaking application packaging, addressing system and application vulnerabilities, and undertaking maintenance and reporting activities. The key duties of the position include Reporting to the Assistant Director for Workplace Systems, responsibilities of the successful applicant may include: Respond to end user requests and effectively liaise with stakeholders. Monitor and action jobs assigned to various technical support queues. Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems. Collaborate with team members and business areas. Maintain and update documentation for processes, systems and troubleshooting steps. Package applications and write release documentation. Assist with the evaluation of end user hardware. Perform monitoring and health check tasks to ensure system availability.
