You will lead an engineering team and work closely with other Team Leaders, Service Delivery Leaders, Product Managers, planning personnel and production departments to ensure that engineering outcomes are achieved to a high standard and optimum team performance is achieved. It is expected that the Team Leader Electrical Engineering will remain up to date with technologies, techniques and regulatory requirements. WHAT YOU WILL DO: Liaise with Service Deliver Leader to assign engineering resources to specific projects Supervise, train, develop and coach team members In conjunction with the Project Manager, act as customer liaison for complex or sensitive issues Identify the design and production processes and improve the efficiencies Develop and coach a continuous improvement mentality in the team Review designs completed by drafting and engineering staff to ensure compliance with customer’s specifications and standards. Participates in risk assessments, order reviews and design reviews to ensure the continual improvement of the design quality What are we looking for from you? You will have an excellent attitude to teamwork complemented with the following: CPENG & RPEQ Degree level qualifications in Electrical Engineer (or higher) Experience working within in a manufacturing environment Strong communication skills (verbal and written, presentation) Demonstrated experience in resolving problems – both technical and people management issues Competent in the Microsoft Office applications, including MS Project Experienced in Autocad Think you know Ampcontrol?
