Role Detail Our Global Business Acceptance Team (GBAT) is growing as our AML/CTF and Financial Crime program expands, and as we embark on a Strategic Program to optimise the firm’s governance, global business acceptance and engagement risk & compliance policies, processes, systems and controls (governance framework). These 2 new postions will be responsible for the remediation, maintenance and ongoing improvement of data quality (accuracy, currency and relevancy of the data) within the firm’s global business acceptance and practice management systems. Key overarching elements of the role will include: Data cleanse and remediation Data migration support (dependency for other project objectives and future process and system efficiency, (eg clearance record cleansing, client deduplication, client & matter closing, information barrier removal) Maintenance of client, matter and clearance data quality & integrity About You You are an instinctive problem-solver, a strong communicator, and adept at identifying process improvement opportunities. You have a keen eye for detail, and the ability to align technical solutions with the needs of the business to drive efficiencies and improved business performance. You will also bring: • Sound application of data, business analysis and attention to detail • Ability to interrogate and interpret data • Ability to present data in a structured and common language • Proficiency in Excel • Highly responsive to information requests, keeping key stakeholders informed on progress and status • Demonstrated ability to work both as part of a team and autonomously • Ability to prioritise and organise own tasks to meet tight deadlines• Ability to work and communicate effectively within a team • Ability to follow articulate business rules and identify circumstances where rules/criteria aren’t being met Desired: • Previous exposure to data projects and an awareness of project lifecycles and methodologies • Previous experience in a Risk and Compliance function such as a business intake function in a legal practice will be looked on favourably Next Steps Please click ‘Apply Now’ to apply online with your cover letter summarising why you’re applying and your resume to support your experience.
