Life Saving Victoria (LSV) is Victoria's peak water safety and lifesaving organisation built on the proud traditions and programs of our founding organisations, the Royal Life Saving Society – Australia and Surf Life Saving Australia. LSV is a multifaceted volunteer-based community organisation with a focus on public safety and community wellbeing. We have an exciting opportunity for a proactive, organised and effective Administration Officer to join our Aquatic Industry Services team on a part time (0.6) basis. Based in our Port Melbourne office , you will provide exceptional customer service to LSV's aquatic industry clients. Reporting to the Lead Coordinator – Aquatic Industry Services, you will work as part of a small but dynamic team to: Manage the general day-to-day administrative tasks assigned by the Aquatic Industry Services Team. Assist with the scheduling and booking of events, summits and event courses. Schedule in Pool Safety Assessments and Mystery Guest Visits with aquatic industry clients. Process memberships for the SwimSafe and Watch Around Water campaigns. Administer online pool safety assessment database. Maintain the shared inbox of the Aquatic Industry Services team. You will be a motivated Administration Officer with outstanding customer service and organisational skills. You will possess a high level of attention to detail particularly when you issue invoices and handle Excel reports. You will be a natural problem-solver and can think on your feet. Previous experience working with databases, Microsoft Excel and Word. Excellent communication skills, including over the phone, in person and by email. High level of attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks. Must have or be able to obtain an employee Working with Children Check Knowledge of water safety, lifesaving, and organisations such as Life Saving Victoria, Surf Life Saving Australia, and the Royal Life Saving Society Australia is highly desirable.
