Position : Revenue Administration Officer – Data Entry Start : ASAP Duration : Until 27 June 2025 Salary : $35.22 per hour plus superannuation Location : Westmead, NSW Primary Purpose of the Position The Revenue Administration Officer is responsible for ensuring all revenue related administration and financial transactions and processes are managed in accordance with legislative, statutory, and compliance obligations. Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities: Provide a full range of administrative, revenue and financial support functions utilising multiple software applications and billing systems. Provide a consistently high level of customer service to internal and external stakeholders, including investigation and resolutions of issues, in line with legislation, statutory requirements and policy and procedures. Updating and maintaining records across a range of electronic patient information and billing systems, to ensure revenue generation is accurate. Liaising with patients, LHDs, Medicare, health funds, and other organisations to facilitate accurate billing and revenue generation. Work effectively within a team focused environment and contribute to the review and development of practices and procedures. Any other duties that may be required that are consistent with the duties outlined in this statement and the relevant Award. Participate in team meetings, performance development and undertake any training as directed. Act in accordance with the Client’s values and Code of Conduct. Desirable Criteria: Demonstrated knowledge and use of billing systems as well as the ability to analyse and report on findings. Proven knowledge and experience with regards to interpreting applicable policies and legislation pertaining to billing requirements in an accounts related/revenue setting. Demonstrated high-level interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to prepare a range of documents and reports for internal and external stakeholders. Developed analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to plan, priorities and organise own work, taking into consideration the impact on others to achieve results and meet key performance indicators. Demonstrated experience working within an environment requiring sensitivity and consideration in relation to confidentiality and privacy. Ability to work in a demanding and complex environment where there are competing priorities and staff working to strict deadlines. Ability to support a highly professional, performance based, innovative, responsive and accountable customer service culture.
