Administrative Officer - Policy Sydney CBD 2000 12m FTC - Full Time (Monday - Friday) Salary $80,000 Super Hybrid Cox Purtell is currently working with a prestigious association operating in the Legal industry who are seeking an Administrative Officer, responsible for providing administrative support to the Policy and Practice Department. Key Responsibilities: Providing support for administration of committees, including preparing agendas and arranging venue and catering for committee meetings Undertaking office administrative tasks, including: General administrative support to the Director and staff Maintenance of current task and submissions and tracking documents Compilation of departmental reports and schedules (e.g. reports to Council, annual reports, annual meeting schedule) Filing and records maintenance Word-processing (letters, memos, submissions, reports etc.) Website entries and updates Responding to telephone enquiries from internal and external customers, including legal practitioners, and referring queries as appropriate. Other administrative tasks and ad hoc work as required. Essential Competencies: Excellent written & verbal communication skills Strong administrative skills Advanced office software skills, including Microsoft Office suite, such as Teams, Word, Excel, and Outlook High level appreciation of, and commitment to, customer service Experience in working within short timeframes and in a fast-paced environment Experience with Foxit PDF editor is highly desirable Previous exposure to working with committees or in a legal environment would be highly regarded
