If you have experience in kitchen operations and want a role with flexible shifts , we’d love to hear from you Key Responsibilities: Assist in food preparation and meal service for residents. Ensure safe food handling and hygiene standards are met. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment. Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment. Follow dietary guidelines and meal plans as instructed and ensure documentation requirements are met. Assist with stock rotation, storage, and kitchen supplies . Work as part of a team to provide high-quality meal service for elderly residents. Requirements Food Safety & Handling Certificate (mandatory). Previous kitchen hand, food service, or hospitality experience (preferred but not essential). Understanding of safe food handling, hygiene, and cleanliness standards . Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions. Strong teamwork and communication skills . Valid Police Check (or willingness to obtain). Bonus Skills (Highly Regarded): Experience working in aged care, hospitals, or healthcare kitchens . Knowledge of special dietary requirements and allergies .
