About the role: RPDAS Operations are responsible for the deployment of alcohol and drug buses around the state. The T&C office supports this through site allocation, bus and member rostering, accommodation booking, intelligence collection, and various other tasks. The Senior Administration Assistant reports to the Tasking & Coordination Team Leader and provides administrative support to the T&C office as well as providing back up and support for RPDAS reception. The suitable applicant needs to be highly organised and motivated, display workplace resilience and possess strong communication and interpersonal skills. About You: The successful candidate will ideally have the following skills and experience: Demonstrated experience in the provision of high quality executive/secretariat and administrative support services. Excellent correspondence management skills and proven capacity to co-ordinate task, determine priorities, monitor workflows and operate effectively as a member in a team environment. Demonstrated well developed communication, liaison and interpersonal skills and the ability to liaise with senior management, other government departments and people from all sections of the community. Demonstrated ability to research issues and prepare draft reports and briefings within a project plan or policy framework. Proven ability to work flexibly, with limited supervision and/or lead a team and contribute to team or organisation goals. Advanced MS Office and computing skills, including the ability to develop and maintain appropriate work recording and monitoring systems. An understanding of the customer service requirements of the position and a demonstrated record of strong commitment and achievement in meeting customer needs. A proven record of ethical behaviour and a demonstrated commitment to the Victoria Police Code of Ethics and Conduct and the Organisational Values.
