Introduction As a Payroll Administrator , you will be responsible for ensuring all employees are paid accurately and on time while maintaining compliance with One Harvest Enterprise Agreements, Modern Awards, Fair Work legislation, and company policies. You will play a critical role in supporting payroll operations, responding to employee inquiries, and contributing to process improvements. Description Key Responsibilities Complete weekly payroll processing accurately and on time (by 2pm each Monday). Assist with the weekly after-pay process, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Maintain and update employee personnel records. Process payroll functions, including new starters, contract changes, terminations, time & attendance data imports, payroll reporting, and leave liability calculations. Respond promptly to payroll-related inquiries from employees and internal stakeholders. Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, company policies, and enterprise agreements. Maintain strict confidentiality of employee information and payroll data. Support audits, reporting, and reconciliations to external stakeholders (e.g., Single Touch Payroll, Child Support, and Union Deductions). Assist the Payroll Manager with ad-hoc tasks and process improvements. Proficiency in Microsoft Teams, Excel, and Outlook. Ability to work independently and as part of a small, dynamic team. A strong work ethic and commitment to integrity and confidentiality. Desirable Skills & Experience Previous experience in a payroll position. Knowledge of payroll systems such as Rockfast, QAD, or ELMO.
