This role will be based in Perth, Western Australia . This role supports managing contracts for ATCO’s construction projects for the Projects Delivery function. This position is responsible for administering contracts from both a commercial and procurement perspective, ensuring compliance with terms, managing variations, and supporting contract negotiations. The role will work closely with the Commercial, Finance and Procurement team, ensuring that all commercial and supplier-related contractual obligations are met. The role will require some travel to South Australia. What Does Success Look Like Oversee and manage all contract administration activities for the life of the project, ensuring that contractual obligations are met, and the contracts are executed effectively. Administer contract variations and change orders, ensuring they are properly documented, communicated, and aligned with both commercial and procurement processes. Assist the Procurement team in contract creation, supplier negotiations, and procurement documentation, ensuring compliance with procurement standards and driving value in supplier agreements. Identify and mitigate potential risks within contracts and ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory and contractual obligations. Collaborate with the Commercial Manager, Procurement team, suppliers, and project teams to resolve contractual issues, ensuring alignment between commercial goals and procurement standards. Work closely with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure contract terms, timelines, and deliverables are met. Track contract-related financials, ensure timely payments, claims, and reconciliation, and maintain all contract documentation in accordance with legal and compliance standards. Exposure & Experience A qualification in contract management or procurement would be highly beneficial. Experience in contract administration within the construction and/or energy industries Familiarity with procurement processes, supplier management, and contract negotiations for both procurement and construction contracts. Strong understanding of contract law, regulatory compliance, and risk management in a construction environment. Proven ability to manage contract variations, extensions, and supplier agreements in line with project and procurement requirements.
