THE ROLESenior Project Officer - Children and Families Integrated Service and Policy Design The role of the Senior Project Officer is to work collaboratively across key stakeholders across government to inform the design, development and implementation of service improvements that deliver improved service access for children, young people and families. The Senior Project Officer will form part of a small team leading and coordinating a program of involves the use of project and stakeholder management skills combined with strong policy and practice analysis and development capabilities. The role also provides strategic advice on implementation and change management requirements across the agreed priority programs of work. ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE • Provide authoritative advice, reasoned recommendations and innovative solutions to complex and sensitive issues based on comprehensive research. • Contribute to the development of policy initiatives, including on complex matters, that meet government and departmental objectives • Monitor and report on high priority issues, risks and trends and prepare and present reports, ministerial briefs, Cabinet and agency submissions.
