About the Role We are searching for an experienced and passionate Early Childhood Teacher to work closely with our Educators in our Kindy room at our Lockridge Centre to provide quality care to young children in a stimulating, play-based environment. This is a Permanent Full-Time role working 75 hours per fortnight (Monday to Friday) with the option available to work a condensed fortnight (work 10 longer days, get the 9th day off). What you'll do Responsibilities include, however are not limited to: Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the curriculum and meet the needs of individual children Create a safe and welcoming environment for children to learn and play Observe and assess children's development and progress, and communicate with parents and caregivers as needed Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive and supportive team environment Maintain accurate records of children's progress and attendance Attend professional development opportunities to stay up to date on best practices in early childhood education Candidate Requirements Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field Current registration as a Teacher in WA At least 2 years of experience working with young children in a classroom setting Strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate teaching methods Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff Current Working with Children Check What We Can Offer You Flexibility option to work a compressed nine-day fortnight (after probation period).
