Central Adelaide Local Health Network Statewide – SA Pathology Salary: OPS1 $15.42 - $28.37 per hour plus 25% casual loading Salary: OPS2 $30.01 - $32.28 per hour plus 25% casual loading Gawler SA, 5118 & Barossa Valley Casual, Contracted Role up to 12 months About the role We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Operational Services Officer to work in pathology collection and specimen reception. In this role, you will undertake a range of essential tasks, including venepuncture and specimen collection, courier runs, sorting and accessioning specimens, and assisting with preparatory duties. Your responsibilities will also include ensuring accurate data entry, proper storage and transport of specimens, and handling customer enquiries with professionalism and efficiency. A high level of proficiency using computers and ability to operate software programs is required. This position will be primarily based in Gawler but also involves requirements to work at various locations in the Barossa Valley (Nuriootpa, Tanunda, Angaston & Kapunda). This position involves some weekend work. Classification for this role will be based on experience and skills. At an entry level, you will receive close direction and on-the-job training to develop the necessary skills, while at a more experienced level, you will work under general direction, applying your acquired knowledge to perform tasks independently.
