Your new role Your new role will see you reporting to the Service Manager, working 7am – 3pm Monday to Friday, with some occasional overtime. With the workshop being based local to Greensborough, your new role will see you; Working across various sites daily to adhere with fire panel saftey solutions; Inspection and testing of essential safety systems within both commercial and residential properties; Installation, maintenance and repairs of fire protection and safety systems to Australian Standards; Identifying, installing, diagnosing, servicing, repairing, and carrying out minor works on fixed fire protection and safety systems; Completing and providing evidence of maintenance performed on equipment in an accurate and legible manner via Uptick Workforce; Service reporting via Uptick mobile application; Managing the delivery of on-site work within project timeframes (Small Projects); Drafting ‘As Installed’ drawings as you progress through projects and submitting to the office in a timely manner; Have sound knowledge of applicable Australian Standards relevant to fixed systems fire protection equipment; and Adhere to sophisticated reporting through Uptick application. What you need to succeed Licensed A-Grade, white card, have a current driver licence; 2 years field industry experience within fire panel manufacturing; Proven background working in a field service technician role; Broad knowledge spanning a range of different Fire Panel manufacturers; Current product and industry knowledge, and an understanding of where to locate the relevant information; and Experience with Uptick (advantageous) & programming various makes of fire panels is preferred but not essential.
