DRA covers all major mining centres with offices across Africa and the Middle East, North and South America, and Asia-Pacific About the Role: Seeking a Process Engineer to join our engineering team in Perth CBD. The ideal candidate will have a background in process plant design across base metals as well as experience in the delivery of studies and projects. Reporting to the Process Engineering & Study Manager you will be working with a highly experienced team and will be exposed to a continuous succession of small to large domestic and possibly international projects as they progress through the project lifestyle from early concept development, detailed design, construction and commissioning to operations. Duties Support the process team on studies and projects and check key process deliverables related to your field of expertise (such as design criteria, mass & energy balances, process flow diagrams, equipment sizing calculations, etc). Coordinate with other engineering disciplines, procurement, construction, vendors, consultants, and client teams to deliver projects successfully. Contribute to the review and optimizations of project design, cost, safety, constructability, and schedule. Interface with global equipment suppliers to stay up to date with technological developments. Key criteria Tertiary qualification in chemical engineering or related field Previous industry experience within mining and mineral processing, ideally within an EPCM Process design experience including process mass balances, process flow diagrams and process support services. Systems design experience including piping and instrument diagrams, cause and effect diagrams, hazard and operability design reviews and systems support services.
