Oversee the management of engaged subcontractors to maintain project efficiency and compliance with requirements. Uphold VRTP’s Safety and Quality standards at all times, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards. Your day to day: • Manage the safety and quality of works on projects that have been contracted via Group Projects. • Provide detailed reports to Project Managers, highlighting findings and recommending targeted actions to achieve agreed outcomes. • Review team plans to ensure vendors can achieve the program of work. • Monitor and manage the delivery of quality assurance. • Plan and Co-ordinate Site Construction activity with engaged contractors and stakeholders within VRTP. • Develop Site Management Plans documentation that reflects site management strategies and risk mitigation. • Monitor completion of engaged works and report on variations or additional works as required. • Review and report back serial numbers and assets back to cost control – so can be updated in the fixed asset register. • Attend meetings with subcontractors and builder as required to meet project goals and outcomes. • Interdepartmental communications on quality of the building works and reporting. What you’ll bring: • Strong computer skills, with competency in Microsoft Office. • Demonstrated strong understanding of Construction Safety requirements and Site management principles. • Undertaking, or have a Cert 4 in Construction Building is essential. • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written & verbal) with a proven ability to work with stakeholders from all business areas. • Demonstrated discretion and an ability to work with confidential project material. • Strong time management and analytical skills, with an attention to detail. • Ability to work in a team environment and autonomously when required. • Must be proactive with excellent self management and organisational skills.
