CASUAL LIBRARY ASSISTANT Commencing Term 2, 2025 The College is currently seeking to appoint an experienced and energetic casual Library Assistant to join our team of committed professionals in the LRC. For more information, please visit our website About You: The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate at interview a personal faith and commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ and a lifestyle consistent with that faith, including an active commitment to a Christian fellowship , as well as the following skills and experience: · · a friendly, helpful and responsive manner with all library users; · able to manage circulation and cataloguing tasks in Oliver Library database; · assist with shelving, stocktake and weeding activities; · book covering and repairs; · use Edumate to maintain accurate records of student attendance; · work with other Library staff to plan and run Library events; · maintain a high level of tidiness throughout the Library; · supervise Secondary students in the Library after school; · assist parents accompanying younger students for borrowing after school; · strong verbal and written communication skills; · highly developed interpersonal and relational skills. · strong Word and Excel skills; · the ability to efficiently multitask and get the job done; · the ability to work independently and as part of a team; and · a first aid qualification, or a willingness to acquire one.
