We are seeking Laborers which will be required for a diverse range of projects across Northern Brisbane and the Moreton Bay region. Projects include Civil Construction, Parks and Garden’s maintenance or Plant operations for multi skilled laborers CIVIL: Perform civil laboring duties on construction and maintenance projects as required in an effective and timely manner. Undertake a range of duties on road and drainage works which may include levelling, pavement grade checking, signage & traffic control devices and the laying of pipes and pits. Performing basic carpentry, basic concrete formwork / placement / finishing. General laboring and cleaning of sites and roadsides Correctly use and maintain plant and equipment provided, including all personal protective equipment. MULTI SKILLED PLANT OPERATIONS: Knowledge of operations of trucks and earth moving equipment commonly used in civil construction Perform the excavation, lifting, crushing and transportation of materials PARKS & GARDENS: Maintaining outdoor recreational spaces Operating a zero-turn mower, whipper snipper, hedge trimmer, chainsaw etc Spraying and storing controlled chemicals Arborist duties ABOUT YOU: Posses’ relevant certifications or tickets for your desired role Demonstrated relevant experience in a similar role or a role requiring a similar skill set Ability to work in a team environment Adhere to deadlines Conduct yourself in a professional manner and maintain good working relations. Demonstrated numeracy, written and verbal communication skills. RELEVANT QUALIFICATIONS: CIVIL Current MR class driver’s license at minimum Construction Induction Card competency (White Card) that has been used or obtained within the past 2 years. MULTI SKILLED PLANT OPERATIONS: Current HR class driver’s license at minimum Construction Induction Card competency (White Card) that has been used or obtained within the past 2 years. Additional tickets for backhoe, excavator etc PARKS & GARDENS: Current MR class driver’s license at minimum Construction Induction Card competency (White Card) that has been used or obtained within the past 2 years.
