Collaborating with 9 partnering organisations the aim of this service is to address service gaps by enhancing accessibility and integrating primary mental health care, AOD, psychosocial support, and early intervention and prevention. Click here to learn more. About the role We are seeking an experienced and motivated Administration Officer to join our dynamic team supporting the MHAODSP service. This is a fantastic opportunity to be at the heart of the operation, supporting the smooth running of key activities and making a real difference to the community. In this pivotal role, you will work closely with the Operations Manager to manage daily administrative tasks, including communications, meeting coordination, documentation, financial administration, and event organisation. Your work will directly impact our ability to deliver essential services effectively and efficiently. Key responsibilities include: Managing communications (emails, phone calls, and internal communications). Coordinating meetings and events, preparing agendas, minutes, and follow-up actions. Assisting with financial administration, including processing invoices and tracking expenses. Ensuring accurate documentation and maintaining confidentiality. About you You’re a highly organised and proactive professional with a passion for supporting community services. You hold a certificate or diploma in office administration, business administration, or a related field and bring experience in administrative roles, ideally within healthcare, community services, or non-profit sectors. Your skill set includes: Exceptional organisational and time-management abilities, with a knack for prioritising and meeting deadlines. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other relevant software. A detail-oriented approach with the ability to manage and maintain accurate records. A collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
