Abyss Construction is on the hunt for a Construction Site Supervisor to be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations at the construction site. We are seeking a person who can ensure that work is completed safely, on time, and within budget, while maintaining the highest standards of quality. The Construction Site Supervisor will manage the workforce, coordinate construction activities, and ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations, building codes, and environmental laws. Responsibilities: Oversee the day-to-day activities of workers on-site and ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and on schedule. Coordinate tasks between various subcontractors and the main team. Ensure that all work meets the project specifications and quality standards. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and identify potential issues. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and promote a safe working environment. Conduct safety briefings and monitor workers' adherence to safety protocols. Regularly report on the project’s progress to the Project Manager or other relevant stakeholders. Maintain logs of activities, incidents, and inspections. Ensure that all required materials, tools, and equipment are available, of required standard and used correctly on-site. Report any shortages or damages to the appropriate personnel. Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during construction, whether it involves workers, materials, or scheduling. Ensure compliance with all local building and zoning regulations, and environmental laws. Maintain accurate records of work progress, inspections, worker attendance, and any accidents or safety incidents. Qualifications: Diploma or higher Qualifications in Engineering, Construction Management or a Trade Proven experience in a supervisory role in the construction industry. Construction White Card Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety standards, and building codes. Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications. Familiarity with project management software and construction-related technologies. Ability to solve problems and think critically under pressure. Salary commensurate with experience in the range $80-90,000
