About the Role: We are seeking a Warehouse Manager for a Permanent Part Time (3 days a week) placement based in Abbotsford Warehouse, VIC Purpose of the Role: The National Warehouse Manager is responsible for delivery and dispatch of goods from the Communications Portfolio Abbotsford Warehouse, providing stock control and inventory reports for all portfolio supplies. The position is responsible to maintain a tidy, work safe area, while ensuring that all Red Shield Appeal (RSA) materials for all Divisions(State), departments and participants are ordered, collated and distributed within the agreed time frames. Key Roles and Responsibilities: Communications Portfolio and THQ Supplies Preparation, dispatch and return of all Red Shield Appeal materials to and from all Divisions (states) in the Australia Territory. Maintain annual calendar outlining keys dates for RSA. Including all orders, internal and external supplier orders, and volunteer requirements. Maintain Software Inventory control of all comms portfolio and Red Shield Appeal supplies. Conduct annual stock take by June 30th. Manage Communications portfolio and Territorial Headquarters (THQ) archives including requests for storage, access and transport. Upon request manage documents for storage, access and secure disposal or destruction in accordance with Salvation Army policy and within government retention regulations. Receive and coordinate, pickup and dispatch, materials and goods relating to various appeals. Warehouse Equipment/Safety Oversee maintenance of all mechanical equipment and vehicles - Forklift and Vehicle. Keep record of use of vehicle by other Salvation Army departments/programs - booked/used/returned. Maintain Warehouse visitor logbook and label all materials/stores. Manage and maintain the warehouse in a clean and safe manner at all times. Report building maintenance requirements to TSA Facilities Management within the Property Portfolio. Coordinate warehouse storage capacity to meet demand. Ensure First aid kits are maintained and provide access to contractors as required by TSA facilities management team. Volunteer supervision Oversee, train, and provide direction to volunteers to ensure they are well prepared to make their contribution. Maintain and manage an organised volunteer roster to ensure proper scheduling and coverage. Qualifications Required: Certificate 3 Transport & Logistics (Warehousing & Storage) or equivalent experience. Experience Required: Proven experience in warehouse procedures and practices. Proven ability to work effectively unsupervised and good organisational skills. Physical ability to load/unload supplied vehicle (van/truck). Ability to meet deadlines, reliability and flexibility. Experience in warehouse inventory software. Basic Microsoft Word, Excel, Office 365, Teams, One Drive. Requirements for the role: National Police Check Current Victorian driver's license.
