The exciting opportunity: 8 month parental leave contract Homely 50 bed facility in Rockingham Work 24 hours a fortnight choosing your days and start and finish times Apply your specialist knowledge to increase physical and cognitive function and maximise independence and quality of life Conduct holistic assessments to determine both physical and equipment needs Work with the residents to establish meaningful goals, providing services in line with their preferences, medical care needs and policies and procedures Create, implement, review and adjust care plans that accurately reflect all of the resident’s needs Plan, implement and coordinate individual and group therapeutic activities Provide mentoring, education and direction to a team of Therapy Assistants Benefits: Role open to new graduates and experienced Occupational Therapists Design the role to suit you – choose your start and finish times, split over 2 or 3 days a week, and have the option to pick up extra shifts at nearby facilities Values driven organisation with a fantastic culture and team environment with excellent support from Senior Therapy Team Leaders and onsite management Be guided and supported by your dedicated 3D Recruit Career Consultant, assisting with CV creation, interview preparation and career advice $43 - $58 an hour depending on experience super salary packaging About you: Current AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist, or due to receive registration in the near future Superb interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with and engage residents and families Demonstrated ability conducting thorough assessments and creating individualised care plans Eager, passionate and committed to providing holistic care Experience in the residential aged care industry is highly desirable but not essential What next?
