About the company A reputable accounting firm that has been around for over 50 years is on the lookout for an Administration Manager. With a long-standing and growing client base, the firm is experiencing rapid growth and is looking for someone to help the lead the administration team while wearing multiple hats within the business. Opportunity We are looking for an administration manager that enjoys variety in their day. This role would suit someone who thrives in a busy environment, multi-tasking, communicating with different teams and wearing multiple hats, while also flexing their leadership skills and being readily available to pivot based on the needs of the business. This role is based out of their Blackburn office. Day to day: Oversee day to day practice operations while leading an administration team Participate and conduct regular staff training, meetings and performance review processes Assist admin team in maintaining Director’s diaries, making appointments and with general admin support as necessary Managing invoicing and billing - liaising with clients in relation to outstanding debt Organisation of staff training, seminars, conferences, events & catering Preparation of agenda, minutes, spreadsheets etc for weekly team meetings Assist & mentor the junior team with Bookkeeping tasks, such as payroll, preparing and lodging BAS & IAS for clients as well reporting figures to the ATO including Superannuation. Corresponding with ASIC and registering businesses About you We are looking for a motivated, team player who enjoys the variety of a busy administrative role and who can effectively lead a junior team.
