The Client Foodworks Southbank is located in Southbank in VIC is a large retail business dealing with fast moving consumer goods. They require a full time Retail Manager to join their team. The Role The Retail Manager is responsible for leading all operations and functions of the retail operations. This rare opportunity will see you take charge and lead by example as you manage and lead the team, and capitalise on business opportunities to grow the business. This role is a full time position with an annual salary set between $100,000 to $120,000 depending on experience plus superannuation. Responsibilities Leading retail operations for all facets of activity including sales, retail execution, operations, compliance and OH&S Flawlessly implementing the convenience store promotional and retail development plans Managing the overall image and standards of the store, including implementation and adherence to company policies and procedures Ensuring effective communication through the channel from key stakeholders through your network to ensure focus and delivery on core objectives Identifying new retail, business development and continuous site opportunities Create and deliver daily plans and strategies to ensure store & individual budgets and KPI's are achieved Execute & manage visual merchandising within the store Motivating and leading the team to connect with customers and provide an amazing and engaging customer service experience Maximising budgeted sales and controlling expenses (including wages and shrinkage) through your understanding and driving of KPIs, loss prevention strategies and operational excellence Overseeing and management of retail inventory records and stock levels for all retail operation Recruiting, training and retaining team members to create a fun, collaborative and success focused culture Mentoring and developing the team in providing amazing customer experiences Requirements Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business or retail management Minimum 2 years' experience in commercial retail management at a Managerial level Minimum of 2 years' people management experience Minimum of 2 years' in managing inventory, stock levels, and reducing shrinkage Minimum of 2 years' in store merchandising, ensuring product placement aligns with store layout and customer preferences Minimum of 2 years' experience in using retail management systems, POS systems, and stock management software Strong operational management background Ability to embrace change at a store level and instil a culture of excitement Demonstrated VM / volume stock management abilities Passion for driving customer service Good time management and attention to detail
