Role Description We are recruiting 2 full-time, on-site Senior Water Engineers for a regional QLD Council, located just south of the iconic Great Barrier Reef, 1 x Senior Stormwater Engineer and 1 x Senior Wastewater Engineer For both roles - Salary starting from $110,000 to $140,000 (negotiable according to experience and qualifications) 1 . Senior Stormwater Engineer Duties: Prepare and review water-related infrastructure design drawings Provide technical expertise and design recommendations. Create reports, proposals, and recommendations to senior management, and council members advocating for effective Water management solutions. Collaborate with stakeholders, including local government and contractors. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. Chartered Professional Engineer in AU/NZ preferable Minimum of 5 years of experience in stormwater management. Proficient in stormwater modelling software Strong project management and communication skills. 2. Senior Wastewater/sewer Engineer Duties: Design and oversee wastewater treatment systems Perform technical assessments and feasibility studies. Ensure projects meet environmental and regulatory standards Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders in the execution of Water projects Qualifications: Bachelor of Civil Engineering. Chartered Professional Engineer in AU/NZ preferable. 5 years experience in wastewater treatment. Knowledge of design and design delivery experience essential.
