Line of Service Assurance Industry/Sector Not Applicable Specialism Assurance Management Level Senior Associate Job Description & Summary About the Role Our Assurance Digital team is expanding and we’re looking for Full Stack Engineer to join our vast community of solvers. The Assurance Digital team are highly experienced designers, developers, data scientists and analysts who are responsible for delivering digital products and automation solutions to PwC’s Assurance business across the Asia-Pacific region. We partner with subject matter experts across the business to advise on, design and develop technology-enabled solutions that help to transform the way we deliver assurance services to our clients. You’ll help solve complex problems by using your skills in: Developing intelligent automation software using microservices architectures. Actively participating in team stand-ups. Performing code reviews and providing peer coaching/guidance to other team members. Contributing to the continuous improvement of our application development lifecycle. In our Assurance Digital team, your impact will be seen by: Strong JavaScript development experience with ReactJS and NodeJS. Prior experience with databases (e.g. MySQL, Postgres) Prior experience with GraphQL development experience is a plus. Prior experience with Python is a plus. Prior experience with Cloud services (e.g. Azure) is a plus. Experience using RabbitMQ or other AMQP solutions. Experience working with Kubernetes environments is a plus. Prior experience with a JavaScript testing framework such as Jest. Prior experience with microservices architectures and containerisation, including good knowledge of Docker. Strong critical thinking skills, an analytical mindset and outstanding attention to detail. Ability to work efficiently with remote teams using collaboration technology. Ability to identify issues and solve complex problems as part of a team. Ability to remain calm when under pressure and meet demanding deadlines. Good written and verbal communication skills. A proactive approach to resolving problems. Knowledge of agile software development lifecycles (SDLC) and experience working on projects that follow an Agile Scrum methodology.
