Plantmark’s operations include one large-scale production nursery and seven Wholesale Trade Markets with sales and distribution in Victoria, New South Wales, and Queensland. Description Key responsibilities Reporting to the Trade Market Manager, the role involves hands on sales and customer service, along with plant consultation, scanning stock, processing payments and liaising with suppliers. Also required are general nursery duties including weeding, watering, merchandising, grounds maintenance and using trade equipment. The position is casual, working Saturdays with the possibility to extend to another day/s during the week. Business operational hours are: Saturdays 8.00am - 4.00pm and Weekdays 7.00 am – 5.00 pm. Plantmark offers a four week induction and training program, with face to face learning and online courses presenting a roadmap for success in the role. Skills And Experiences Essential attributes To be successful as a Plantmark Trade Market Sales and Service person, you will have: High level customer service skills with a proactive approach to solving queries. Confident computer ability at intermediate standards. Accountability for tasks with a sense of urgency and a keen eye for detail. Positive work ethic with ability to effectively work unsupervised as well as in a team. Passion for plants with a knowledge of Botanical plant identification and/or horticulture experience highly desirable. Applicants must also be capable of performing regular heavy lifting tasks and be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions. Why join our team?
