About the Role As an MC Truck Driver driving new state-of-the-art Pneumatic Tankers , you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of bulk commodity products between Narrandera, NSW, and Altona, VIC. Operating A-Double and B-Double combinations , this role involves predominantly night driving and requires strict adherence to safety, Chain of Responsibility (CoR), and fatigue management regulations . Key Responsibilities: Transport & Operations: Safely operate A-Doubles for bulk commodity deliveries (night shift). Manoeuvre A-Singles in high-traffic customer sites . Ensure secure loading/unloading of pneumatic tankers. Maintain compliance with NHVR regulations, scheduling, and fatigue management . Safety & Compliance: Conduct pre-start/post-trip inspections and report faults/incidents. Follow CoR procedures, load restraint guidelines, and safety protocols . Take required rest breaks to comply with fatigue management laws . Vehicle Care & Maintenance: Perform routine checks (fluids, tyres, brakes, lights). Ensuring the truck is maintained; clean and fuelled . Report mechanical issues to the maintenance team . Customer Service & Communication: Represent the company professionally with customers. Maintain clear communication with Transport Supervisors and Scheduling. Accurately complete delivery documentation . Essential: Valid MC Truck Licence with proven experience in pneumatic tanker operations. Minimum 2 years’ experience in linehaul and interstate transport . Strong understanding of NHVR regulations, load security, and safe unloading procedures . Ability to work independently while meeting delivery schedules. Experience using technology for logbooks, job dispatch, and compliance records . Willingness to undertake pre-employment medical, drug & alcohol testing, and police checks . Desirable: Forklift Licence (preferred but not essential). Familiarity with transporting food-grade products. Why Join Our Client?
