The Role Our client is preparing for the upcoming winter period seeking a Casual Gas Cylinder Delivery Driver to join their Port Macquarie operation. As an MR Driver, you'll be working closely with the Terminal Manager and will be responsible for effective and safe multi-drop delivery runs of products to Domestic, Commercial, Industrial and Agricultural customers. After the initial training and buddy up with another driver, you will be working to meet the needs of the customers across the region. Benefits Fantastic hourly rate with penalty rates Overtime available Full Training and uniform provided Employee Assistance Program Available for all staff and direct family members Key Responsibilities Loading and unloading LPG cylinder trucks, both within and outside of the LPG Bulk Terminal Ensuring that deliveries are made in an accurate and timely manner as per the daily scheduled requirements Participation in safety activities including HSE meetings, observations, emergency response, incident reporting and audits Reporting any customer Site Installation Defects or Hazards in the required format Repetitive manual handling of gas cylinder bottles Undertake and complete daily / weekly / monthly checks of assigned delivery vehicles and complete appropriate checklists in accordance with our clients Operational Procedures A professional approach and "can-do" attitude with the ability to work autonomously Skills and Experience Hold a current MR licence Demonstrate a minimum 2 years driving experience Be able to deliver to customers in the Port Macquarie, Hastings and surroundings areas Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Experience adhering to health and safety requirements Motivated and able to use your own initiative Dangerous Good experience will also be looked upon favourably Working at Toll At Toll, we're proud to be a leading integrated logistics provider in the Asia Pacific region.
