The Role Our client is preparing for the upcoming winter period and are seeking MR Drivers for Gas Cylinder Deliveries. Located in Thornton, our MR Drivers are due to start in late March / April for the winter season. Your role will be responsible for effective and safe multi-drop delivery runs of products to Domestic, Commercial and Industrial customers. After the initial training and buddy up with another driver, you will be working to meet the needs of the customers across the region. Benefits Fantastic hourly rate with penalty rates Overtime available Full Training and uniform provided Employee Assistance Program Available for all staff and direct family members Key Responsibilities Loading and unloading LPG cylinder trucks, both within and outside of the LPG Bulk Terminal Ensuring that deliveries are made in an accurate and timely manner as per the daily scheduled requirements Participation in safety activities including HSE meetings, observations, emergency response, incident reporting and audits Reporting any customer Site Installation Defects or Hazards in the required format Repetitive manual handling of gas cylinder bottles Undertake and complete daily / weekly / monthly checks of assigned delivery vehicles and complete appropriate checklists in accordance with our clients Operational Procedures A professional approach and "can-do" attitude with the ability to work autonomously Skills and Experience Hold a current MR licence Demonstrate a minimum 2 years driving experience with a clean driving record Be able to deliver to customers in the Newcastle, Hunter, Port Stephens, Central Coast and surroundings areas Motivated and able to use your own initiative Working at Toll Toll People are Australia's most recognised provider of Transport, Logistics, Supply Chain and Warehouse staff.
