About the role: Working in a fun and lively environment, the Group Sales Executive is responsible for group business across the DOMA Hotels portfolio. This includes quoting, contracting and the management of contracted group business. This includes external and residential group blocks as well as allotment management and social groups. The position is also expected to proactively source leads and work closely with the corporate and conference sales teams to convert business in accordance with the overall strategy. Some key responsibilities include: • Quoting and contracting group business for the DOMA Hotels portfolio • Load and manage group blocks within the PMS system, ensuring sound data integrity, correct profile management and rate codes. • Adhere to group contracts in terms of wash dates and payment details. Use a trace system to track payment and rooming list due dates as well as wash clauses. • Communicate effectively with appropriate stakeholders both internally and externally. Naturally, your previous years' experience within a sales coordinator or exec role will come highly regarded. As will the following: • Strong client management, problem solving and excellent organisational skills • Effective communication, both written and verbal and strong negotiation skills • Sound knowledge of Doma Hotels brand and portfolio • Ability to create and maintain strong relationships with customers, clients, and hotel teams • Good understanding of IT applications: excel, word, PowerPoint, and Microsoft skills.
