About the role At Sportsbet, the Quality Assurance (QA) team delivers comprehensive testing services to the business including but not limited to raise the "culture of quality" across the company. We take pride in the fact that the products we deliver to our customers is of the highest standard. Members of the QA Team - Test Engineers are embedded into our Feature Delivery Teams, working closely with the developers, business analysts and other stakeholders to achieve the highest quality results. At Sportsbet, we're dynamic and embrace change. To adapt, you always need to find new ways of speeding up testing without compromising quality. This involves not only automation, but dealing with CI/CD jobs, stabilising test environments, doing component performance test. Quality is a mindset; your role is to spread this culture. During your daily routine, you will: Make sure our products behave as expected Work towards uplifting the automation framework and maintaining it Break things and put them together Give constructive feedback to business and other stakeholders about areas to improve on Contribute to building test automation framework and establish best practices for the feature team QAs Perform regular peer-reviews for shared codebase and maintain high code quality Identify key areas of our delivery model that automation can make the right impact Identify risks, issues and dependencies in project or feature development Promote automation techniques and quality mindset About You Can-do, initiative-taking attitude with the ability to provide solutions Ability to speak up and question "tradition" by suggesting ideas to enhance processes Be a self-starter and able to self-manage – taking ownership and empower them to deliver results Experience with building test automation frameworks from the ground up Strong programming knowledge in JavaScript / Typescript (preferable) / Java Strong experience in developing and deploying API test automation suites Jest, Appium and/or other API test automation frameworks Experience working with Node design patterns and multiple Node libraries Experience with setting up and working with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and Bamboo Exceptional understanding of Agile The Perks We work hard and play hard, so along with a competitive salary and generous performance-based bonus, here’s some of our other perks: 25 days annual leave Genuine flexible and remote working policy with a $1050 work from home office allowance Tailored career development programs Discounted gym memberships, free breakfast, loads of event and conference tickets Access to our Employee Assistance Program and a Circle In membership Industry leading Parental Leave support program with 26 weeks paid leave for Primary Carers and no wait time.
