The Opportunity Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer and performing as part of a tight-knit Sales team, this role plays a key part in providing administrative support to the sales and marketing team and coordinating customer order fulfilment. This role is responsible for maintaining customer data and communications, responding to customer enquiries and quotes, processing sales orders, fulfilment of requests and product delivery arrangements. This is a part-time position, working Monday to Friday ideally from 9am to 1pm. Based at our new facility in Mulgrave, you will: Address customer queries and service requests received via email and website; provide customer service and account management support, including coordination of quotes Undertake routine follow up with customers, confirm order and delivery status, customer deposits and payments and other sales follow up as required Liaise across the business to coordinate sales order fulfilment plans Participate in weekly production planning meetings and manage outstanding backorders Enter sales orders, fulfilment requests and order confirmations. Prepare shipping documentation, liaise with service providers to expedite transport and monitor delivery status Monitor and maintain the customer database for accurate contact information and account classification Coordinate and schedule international dealer meetings, including collation of sales and forecast reports, meeting notes and action plans Maintain CRM management of customer and prospect details (address, contacts, classifications etc Create/edit/manage process flow documentation related to customer sales, quoting, invoicing returns, etc Assist with account/finance tasks related to customer orders and sales (payment application, invoicing, returns, credits) In addition, you will: Support the sales and marketing team with initiatives such as customer engagement programs, new product launch activities, development and sharing of sales & marketing content Coordinate overseas and local tradeshows, liaise with third parties, make travel and accommodation arrangements Track and manage warranty returns and evaluation samples Manage subscriptions to journals, magazines, association memberships etc Assist sales and marketing teams with ordering printed material, collateral and branded Advatek items Qualifications: Bachelor degree in a relevant field (desirable) or equivalent work experience Experience 3 years of sales support/customer service experience Experience in database management (Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems such as Netsuite advantageous) Knowledge of international freight, and multicurrency payments advantageous To be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate: The ability to build and maintain constructive working relationships Excellent verbal and written communication skills Conscientious attention to detail Links to see Advatek Lighting products in use: Hard Rock, Atlantic City https://www.youtube.com/watch?vYpsdCIucD9U Eness Light emitting wood panels https://www.youtube.com/watch?vo0HiACgiWXo Light art installations, Adelaide https://www.youtube.com/watch?vl6iYzFORTRQ Visit us on the web: https://www.advateklighting.com/ Please apply by submitting your resume, with a cover letter telling us about your background, skills and experience, to the attention of Don McCormick, Chief Revenue Officer.
