The Opportunity Part time (Monday - Tuesday) teacher aide position within AQ School Distance Education department and based at our Sunnybank Hills campus. Small classes of 6-8 students. As a Distance Education Teacher Aide , you'll support the planning, teaching and assessment in an alternative, flexible model of learning for autistic students. Using a distance education mode of delivery, this role embraces a holistic, strengths-based, and neuro-affirming approach as we strive to empower each student to thrive in an environment that fosters their individual growth. If you've got experience in the field of Autism, a Cert III in Education support (or equivalent), some exposure to distance education or program development might give you a head start in your first couple of months.
