About Your New Role- Customer Service Executive Ensure customer SOP’s are maintained and the information that is recorded in the system is accurate and up to date Create and monitor orders in a timely manner and inform oversees of intended shipments, ready dates and carrier selection, update Notes and action outstanding items Work with Air and Sea Product Managers during peak times to ensure customer expectations are being met and market information is communicated to customers in a timely manner Regular Customer visits to build relationships & understand continuous improvement opportunities Monitor daily operations through each key area of freight forwarding for designated accounts Work closely with the Customs team and government departments to ensure compliance and the timely clearance of cargo Keep clients update on delivery times and schedules where required Assist in managing container detention risks and communicating with client Support Sales & Management during the implementation of new business Monitor Pricing Inbox and respond to all overseas and interstate quote requests within 24hours What you will need to succeed Thorough understanding and experience within freight forwarding Customer Service Executive experience Substantial Customer Service experience gained within freight forwarding essential Pricing, quotation and CargoWise experience essential Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing Highly motivated, proactive attitude, taking preventive actions with the goal of customer satisfaction Innovative, demonstrate initiative, and be highly adaptive to the changing environment Co-operative working style, informing internal stakeholders/departments pro-actively Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients Time management and prioritisation skills What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your resume, or call Thomas Hunter now at 0437 537 710.
